Holtsville FD to Host Fundraiser for Medford Family

The Holtsville Fire Department will host a fundraiser for the Trinca Family, who was affected by a tragic car accident earlier this month.

Members of the Trinca family have previously or currently live in the Medford area said Dawn Hart, a friend of the family.

The fundraiser will be Sunday, October 23 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the firehouse located on Waverly Avenue in Holtsville, N.Y. They will have a car wash and bake sale.

Keri Trinca and her son Jason, 7, were killed in a crash that took place October 8. Her children Marialena, 4, and Christopher, 2, were in intensive care at Stony Brook University Medical Center.

Also, on Thursday, October 27 there will be a fundraiser at Martha Clara Vineyards from 7-10 p.m. It is $20 per person at the door and there will be a Chinese auction as well as a 50/50.

Also on Sunday, October 23 from 7:30-10:30 p.m., Blu on Montauk Highway in Bluepoint, N.Y. will host an additional fundraiser.
