Home Burglary Reported in Patchogue

Someone broke into a local home on Wednesday, police say.

Suffolk Police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred in Patchogue this week.

Police say a person or people broke into a home on Rider Avenue through a rear door sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 2: 45 p.m. on Wednesday. Jewelry and cash were stolen from the home, police say.

No arrests have been made.
