Burglar's Crime Spree Ends After He Gets Stuck in AC Vent: Cops
Police say his crime spree came to an end this morning when he got stuck in an air conditioning vent while breaking into a dental office.

Suffolk Police have arrested a man in connection with five burglaries over the past week.
According to police, 32-year-old Sean Maranzino entered Calderon Dental, located at 1205 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, around 6 a.m. Tuesday through an exposed air conditioning vent on the roof and became stuck. He was discovered at about 9:30 a.m. by staff of the dental practice and Emergency Services officers were called to dislodge him from the ceiling.
Third Squad detectives arrested Maranzino and charged him with third degree burglary. In conjunction with the Fifth Squad detectives, further investigation revealed Maranzino, of Patchogue, was responsible for four other burglaries in the Fifth Precinct over the past week, police said.

Maranzino broke into Jackson Hewitt, located at 751 Montauk Highway in East Patchogue, through an open HVAC unit at about 3:45 a.m. on March 14, police said. He entered the Vitamin Shoppe, located at 5171 Westbound Sunrise Service Road in Bohemia, through the ceiling sometime overnight on March 15, police said. Maranzino broke into High Times Vape, located at 500-2 Medford Ave. in North Patchogue, at approximately 6:30 a.m. on March 17 through an unlocked door for a neighboring business before crawling through the ceiling into the vape shop, police said. He entered Vitamin World, located at 10 Farber Drive North in Bellport, sometime overnight on March 18, police said.
Over the course of the burglaries he took cash, smoking equipment, and locked boxes from the various businesses, police said.

Maranzino was charged with five counts of third degree burglary He is being held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday.
