Man Found Murdered Inside His North Patchogue Home
BREAKING: Another resident of the home called 911 after finding the 30-year-old injured and unconscious Friday afternoon.

NORTH PATCHOGUE, NY – Suffolk Police are investigating a murder in North Patchogue.
Fifth Precinct officers responded to 45 Sinn St. at approximately 1:40 p.m. after a resident of the home called 911 and reported that another resident was injured and unconscious. When police arrived, they found 30-year-old Kristopher Appel dead.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
