- Village of Patchogue announced the return of the “Alive After Five” Festival for the summer of 2022. Time and dates are not set yet but, officials confirmed the return of the popular festival to Main Street this year with live music, food and craft beer. (News 12)
- The Village of Patchogue Community Development Agency had its annual public hearing meeting on Thursday, Feb. 3. Trustee Lizbeth Carrillo gave suggestions about building a soccer field somewhere in the Village based on some residents' requests. The board considered the idea, suggesting the project to be built behind the Parks and Recreation Building at 380 Bay Ave. (LI Advance)
- Get freezing for a reason with the Patchogue Plunge 2022. The plunge will happen on Super Bowl Sunday and will benefit the Gabby Petito Foundation. The plunge will be at the Sandpit Marina at 10 a.m. A raffle will be available at the site. (Plunge2022)
- The Bellport wrestling team is the great winner of the League IV tournament. The championship took place in Hauppauge and three champions from Bellport crowed. The victory makes the Bellport team a fourth consecutive year winner. (LI Advance)
- Nearby News: A prison guard trainee from Coram was arrested after pretending to be a cop and pulling women over in Nesconset and Ronkonkoma. David Olivari was charged with criminal impersonation, larceny, unlawful imprisonment, and unauthorized use of a computer.
