- Patchogue Chamber of Commerce released this summer’s Alive After Five festival schedule. The first day of the festival will happen on July 14. Other official dates are July 28 and Aug. 11 and 25. The board has just approved those dates and the community can get ready to enjoy the live music again this summer. (Greater Long Island)
- According to a police department press release, a person was reported being punched in the face several times on East Main Street in Patchogue. The incident happened on Saturday, March 5 at about 6:20 a.m., police said. No further details were released. (Patch)
- Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is asking the public's help to locate a man who stole from a Lake Grove store. The suspect stole $3,300 worth of clothing from the Macy's in Smith Haven Mall on Monday. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest. Click here for the security camera images. - Town of Brookhaven will offer spring education programs for residents once again. On March 26, The Town's Safety Department will host a free bicycle rodeo to teach kids about safety.
