- A car struck a medical building in East Patchogue. According to Suffolk Police, the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon when a sedan crashed into a Brookhaven Town Building. No injuries were reported, and police did not release further information. (Patch)
- Mother and daughter received the keys to their new home in East Patchogue that was built with the help of volunteers for Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk. After waiting for a year, Nickesha and Shania Medley are now living in their new home located on Scherger Avenue. They lived in an attic for years before being granted the new house. (Patch)
- Scottish rock band "The Red Hot Chilli Pipers" returns to Patchogue. The band will perform at the Patchogue for the Performing Arts on Sunday, March 13 at 7 p.m. Lobby and bar open at 6 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets. (Broadway World)
- Catalytic converter thieves were caught on camera in Holtsville. Gregory Graff, who owns TLC Transportation located in Holtsville, said 24 catalytic converters were stolen from his business over President's Day weekend. (News 12 Westchester)
- Timothy Heaton, a retired correctional officer, was released from Saint Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson on Tuesday, after a long battle against COVID-19. Heaton was hospitalized in September 2021. During his journey, he had pneumonia and was in a coma for six weeks and now, after five months, he is finally back at his home in Medford. (News12)
