- Tenants from the Conifer Village Apartment Complex complain about the building conditions. Resident Joanne Cady said the complex has had no heat for weeks and noxious fumes are emitting from the old heat system resulting in one hospitalization. Suffolk Health Department investigated the complaints and confirmed the violations. (News 12 Bronx)
- Patchogue Village's new steakhouse is set to open in February. The new high-end eatery aims to present a unique menu at its grand opening. (Greater Patchogue)
