- A pack of riders blocked traffic at Woodside Avenue, near Route 112 on Sunday afternoon in East Patchogue. According to the police, a passenger of a car was punched in a fight with another male who was part of the pack that blocked traffic. One of the cars was damaged during the incident but no arrests were made. The police continue to investigate the incident.
(Patchogue Patch) - Patchogue-Medford School District presents free parent workshops. On Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m., social worker Roanie Taveras will present a workshop about how to identify and prevent substance abuse. All events will be held via Zoom. Click here for more themes and dates. (PMSD)
- The Patchogue Retail Association presents Patchogue Bingo! Support the village's small businesses by participating in this fun event. Whenever you shop at a store participating in the bingo you will get a stamp on your card. If you get a full Bingo card you will be granted a retail gift basket! (CofC)
- Patchogue Safety vest program handed out 1,000 bright vests. The program aims to reduce accidents involving pedestrians in the village. The effort was made after a toddler was fatally hit by a car while walking in the village. (Greater Long Island)
