  2. A former Sayville teacher was arrested Friday for providing alcohol to a minor. Police said in 2020, Ferremi gave alcohol to a 16-year-old male student at his home. In May 2021, Sayville Union School District contacted Suffolk County police regarding the incident. Ferremi is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. (News 12 Bronx)
  3. Lara Martinez from East Patchogue is being charged for leaving her two German Shepherds outside in below 32-degree weather on Monday. The dogs were found by the police outside the house yard at the Frank Drive home. The police did not release any further details. (Patch)
