- A LIRR train hit a van in Patchogue on March 17. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital. Police are investigating the reason the driver parked on the train tracks. Due to the accident, two eastbound trains and the westbound train were canceled. (News 12 Bronx)
- Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts features a new edition of Jokes on Main. The comedy series will host Tri-State's funniest stand-up comedians, Tommy Gooch, Joe Larson, John Joseph, and Rodney Laney. The first night of the show will happen on Friday, April 15 at 8 p.m. (Broadway World)
