- A resident of Rider Avenue in Patchogue has been arrested multiple times for lewdness. Most of the incidents occurred at the apartment complex lobby where the 66-year-old man targeted small children. The first incident happened on Jan. 15 when the man exposed himself in the lobby. The building managers are looking into eviction. Authorities have filed charges. (LI Advance)
- The Patchogue Plunge was held on Super Bowl Sunday morning and was a success with a good number of participants who came together for the fun and to support the Gabby Petito Foundation.
