- Patchogue Arts Council (PAC) will host its Annual General Meeting & Virtual Press Conference. Participants will meet the staff and learn about volunteer recognition and upcoming exhibitions. Click here to access the meeting Zoom address. (Patchogue CofC)
- New York gubernatorial candidate Andrew Guiliani will speak at an event for Restore America NY at the Bellport Country Club. The event will happen on Thursday night in the congressional district of U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin who has received the GOP's nod to run in November. (Patchogue Patch)
- Patchogue-Medford Public Library features the community service SMART Friends and Family Workshop. The service was created for the family and friends of people with addictive behavior. The recovery coach will teach how to use techniques to help people recover from addiction. No registration is required. (PMPL)
- The Meatball Place in Patchogue will host a fundraiser to help the Homebound Vets organization. Long Island has 24,00 disabled veterans and activities such as going grocery shopping or cooking can be challenging at times. The money raised in the event will help the nonprofit Homebound Vets, which is an organization that cooks for LI vets. The Meatball Place is located at 52 West Main St. in Patchogue and the event will be held on March 10 from 6-9 p.m. (LI Advance)
- Nearby News: A 19th-century barn that is located at Old Field Farm is ready to become a Setauket history museum. The Three Village Historical Society plans to rebuild the barn in a project that will cost $1.3 million. The museum will be under construction at the society's North Country Road headquarters. The ground was broken Saturday, and the museum is planned to open next year. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
