- Suffolk Police search for man who stole from Lowe’s. Suffolk Police are looking for a suspect who stole from the Lowe's store in East Patchogue. The unknown man went to the store located at Montauk Highway on Dec. 10 and took eight spools of copper wiring and then left without paying. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information about the theft can contact Crime Stoppers and submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS. (Patchogue Patch)
- Fundraising created to help an East Patchogue family who lost everything in fire. The family home and car were devastated in a blaze on New Year's Eve on Scherger Avenue.
