PATCHOGUE, NY — Next Thursday night, September 10, Patchogue Village will host a new outdoor dining event called Dine Til Nine. Main Street will close from 6 to 9 p.m. to allow restaurants to add more outdoor dining capacity and to encourage residents to eat out downtown. This event is in addition to the ongoing Sundays In The Street afternoon street closure that runs through the fall.

David Kennedy, President of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, tells Patch that if the event goes well, Dine Til Nine will reoccur weekly.

"On behalf of the chamber we are grateful to the village of Patchogue for allowing East and West Main Streets to close. Look for this to be another weekly outdoor dining opportunity through the fall."
