Patchogue's St. Patrick's Day Parade Off Due To Coronavirus
The village parade will be postponed, the mayor announced yesterday.

PATCHOGUE, NY — Joining numerous other Long Island towns, Patchogue has postponed this year's St. Patrick's Day parade out of concerns over the spread of the new coronavirus. The parade, scheduled for March 22 will be postponed, Patchogue Village Mayor Paul Pontieri announced on Thursday.
No details about a future date have been released yet.
New York State banned gatherings over 500 people as COVID-19 cases increased and fears over a public health crisis grew across the metropolitan area.
