Police Seeking Man in Patchogue Assault

Police asking for the public's help to find him.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say assaulted another man in Patchogue in August.

According to Suffolk Police, a man was assaulted after exiting the S61 bus at the Patchogue Long Island Rail Road station bus stop on Aug. 17 at about 3:30 p.m. The suspect, pictured above, is described as a tall black man with a heavy build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
