Report: E. Patchogue Fire Injures Three Firefighters
Early Monday morning fire took place at commercial auto repair shop.

Three firefighters were injured while fighting an early Monday morning fire at a commercial auto repair shop in East Patchogue, according to Suffolk County fire officials in a Newsday report.
According to Newsday, the three firefighters, whose department affiliations were not known, were all taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. One firefighter sustained a back injury, the second an elbow injury and the third an unknown injury according to the report.
The fire reportedly took place at Suffolk Collision Specialists on Montauk Highway at Kane Avenue, and was fought by volunteers at Hagerman, Bellport and Patchogue Fire Departments. The fire was called in at 2:50 a.m., and the cause is reportedly under investigation by the Suffolk police Arson Squad. The building was reportedly not occupied when the fire began, and took two hours for firefighters to put out.
