WATCH: Suffolk Sheriff, Fire Departments Hold Parade At Hospital

Suffolk County sherriff's office, local fire and ambulance companies saluted healthcare workers at Long Island Community Hospital.

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — On Wednesday night, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s office, deputies, correction officers, local fire departments and ambulance companies staged a thank you parade at Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue.

"The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office and local fire and ambulance companies would like to show their appreciation to all the hard working men and women working tirelessly, day and night, at the hospital," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon was on hand to "share his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all of the medical professionals."
