1,500 Back-To-School Book Bags Given Out In Peekskill
School supplies, courtesy of donations from community partners and various local organizations, were also given out to children.
PEEKSKILL, NY — Children in Peekskill were recently made better prepared for the start of the new school year at a recent event where schools supplies were handed out.
The City of Peekskill Youth Bureau held a Back to School Supply Giveaway Aug. 25 at Pugsley Park in the city.
In preparation for the upcoming school year, 1,500 book bags were distributed to children in the community.
