13-Year-Old Attempts to Ride Bike from Peekskill to White Plains

A woman went to Tarrytown police headquarters on June 1 at 9:30 p.m. with a boy she had picked up in Ossining. The 13-year-old was apparently attempting to ride his bicycle from Peekskill to White Plains. Police spoke to the boy's aunt, who has custody of him. The aunt, when she came to pick him up that night, stated that the boy told her he was going to a friend's house. He was turned over to her care.
