2 Peekskill Residents Charged In July Shooting
A Westchester County grand jury handed down eight felony charges.
PEEKSKILL, NY — Two Peekskill residents were indicted in connection with a July shooting that injured two people in Peekskill.
Shaynna Session, 18, and a 17-year-old adolescent offender were indicted by a Westchester County grand jury for two counts of second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree attempted assault, two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies.
The adolescent offender was arraigned in the Youth Part Monday. Session was arraigned in Westchester County Court Friday.

The adolescent offender is being held without bail. Bail was set for Session, authorities said.
Prosecutors said, around 9:15 p.m. July 29, the 17-year-old, while acting in concert with Session, fired about 14 gunshots at a vehicle on Main Street in Peekskill, striking the vehicle and the two passengers inside.

Session provided the loaded gun to the 17-year-old immediately prior to the shooting, police said.
The victims were taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, where they underwent emergency treatment.
The 17-year-old was arrested by officers of the City of Peekskill Police Department. Session was arrested Aug. 5.
