$33,000 Raised for Assumption, Peekskill Common Council, Cortandt Work Session
Here are five things you need to know today, Nov. 14.

1. Father Higgins Walk Raised $33,000
Assumption Church’s Father Higgins arrived safely home this Saturday, after walking more than 50 miles to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan from Peekskill’s Assumption Church. His efforts raised more than $33,000 for the Assumption Church.

4. Common Council and Committee of the Whole Meetings
Peekskill will hold its Committee of the Whole (COW) meeting at 6:30 and Common Council meeting at 7:30 in City Hall. An update on the city's Human Resources study by Don Jacobs is scheduled for the COW meeting.
5. Cortlandt Town Board Work Session
The work session begins at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.
