A New Police Chief, Music and Open Houses

1.) Peekskill to Announce New Police Chief Today

A press conference has been scheduled today to announce the appointment of Eric Johansen as Peekskill’s police chief. Johansen was appointed acting chief in January after the former chief, Eugene Tumolo, retired in June.

2.) Restaurant Week Starts Monday in Peekskill

Restaurant Week is taking place Feb. 25 to March 3 Restaurants in Peekskill will offer prix fixe specials on some of their best offerings, while other local establishments will team to provide discounts.

3.) Tarrytown Vets Drum & Bugle Corps. Open House Today in Verplanck

“The Tarrytown Vets"  volunteer Drum & Bugle Corps. are hosting rehearsals at 8 p.m. inside the Verplanck Fire House, located at 8th Street, Verplanck, NY. The group has members from Westchester, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange and Hartford counties. People with any level of musical background are welcome.

4.) Fred Gillen Jr. Performs Solo Show at the Peekskill Coffee House

Fred Gillen Jr., a songwriter, recording artist, and producer, is scheduled to perform at the Peekskill Coffee House tonight at 8 p.m. The show is free, but donations are appreciated. Find out more here.

5.) Little Learners of Westchester Holds Open House Today
