The New York State Police at Cortlandt are currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident which occurred on March 2nd, 2012, at about 6:10 p.m.
The crash, which involved two vehicles, occurred on the Bear Mountain Parkway in the area of the Route 6 interchange. Both cars were occupied by only a single occupant each. One driver was transported to Westchester Medical Center in stabile condition.

The second driver was transported to Hudson Valley Hospital Center and is in critical condition. Any witnesses to the crash who have not already come forward are asked to contact Investigator Sean J. Morgan or Trooper Kevin T. Quintero at the Cortlandt Barracks at 914-737-7171. All calls will be kept confidential.
