Provided by the Buchanan Democratic Committee: On Monday, January 30, 2012, the Buchanan Democratic Committee held its annual caucus.
Nominations were made for Mayor and two Village Trustee positions for the upcoming Village elections
on March 20, 2012.
Those attending the caucus unanimously nominated Sean Murray for re-election as Mayor; Richard
Funchion and Nick Zachary for re-election for Village Trustees. All three began their respective terms in
April 2010. Mayor Murray had previously served as a Village Trustee.
All residents are encouraged to vote on Tuesday, March 20. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at
Village Hall, 236 Tate Avenue, Buchanan.
