Puglisi on Montrose Enhancement Plan

From Cortlandt Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi: Over the past two years the Town has held several meetings with the hamlet of Montrose residents to discuss what the Town plans were for improvements in this area of Town and to hear their ideas and suggestions.

It’s been a successful collaborative effort and in the two year period twenty projects small and large have been completed from new banners depicting the history of the area to a new Metro North Cortlandt Train Station (a 35 million dollar MTA/Metro-North project).

Our next resident meeting will take place on Thursday, March 8th at 7 P.M. at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library.

This is an excellent way to learn from our residents their ideas to continue to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods.  We have implemented this same practice throughout the years and throughout the community and will continue to do so.”
