Thanksgiving Charites, Information and Call for Donations

PAPA Thanksgiving Dinner

The Peekskill Areas Pastor's Association is holding a Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 24. The reception is at 11:30 a.m. and dinner begins at noon. There is only one seating.

The event will take place at United Methodist Church on 1040 Main St., Peekskill and is open to all.

To have a meal delivered to a homebound person call Cindy Quinn at 914-671-8806. Please call by Nov. 21.

PAPA in Need of Volunteers and Donations

To volunteer at the dinner call Barry Prichep at 914-736-6363

To donate an 18-20 lb frozen turkey call Rena at the Salvation Army at 914-737-0280.Turkeys are to be dropped off at the Salvation Army Headquarters on Nelson Ave., Peekskill on Monday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To donate an apple or pumpkin pie call Judy White at 914-739-3376

Pies are to be dropped off Nov. 23, Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church.
