Two customers became irate after Best Buy employees denied them a refund for their flat-screen TV and allegedly threatened to shoot the employees, according to police. The workers called the police after the two had left the store on Dec. 3 around 4:14 p.m. and said that the two customers said their flat-screen TV suffered damage after it was purchased and they were denied a refund.
The next day, on Dec. 4, in a completely seperate incident, Lake Peekskill for trying to leave the same Best Buy store without paying for merchandise. The man was arrested for petty larceny and cocaine possession following the incident.

Tuesday, Nov. 29 – 9:12 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at a home on Theresa Lane. An officer determined the alarm had malfunctioned and there was no break-in.

1:45 p.m. – A resident of East Main Street reported to Westchester County Police that someone slashed two tires on his car while it was parked near his home. The vandalism occurred sometime after 9 p.m. the night before. The victim reported that a similar incident occurred two months ago but he did not report it to police at that time.
Wednesday, Nov. 30 – 2:32 p.m. – County police responded to a minor accident involving two cars that occurred near the Dress barn store in the Cortlandt Town Center. No one was injured.
Thursday, Dec. 1 – 3:28 p.m. – A resident of Upland Lane reported to Westchester County Police that a delivery truck that mistakenly pulled into her driveway damaged a number of Belgian block paving stones that line her driveway. She discovered the damage after the truck left and asked for a report to be filed to document the incident.
