The City of Peekskill will honor four people nominated by the community this month at a ceremony. The is holding for Black History Month. The two winners essays will by published on Patch.

2.     Buchanan Democrats Nominate Candidates

The Buchanan Democrat Committee nominated Sean Murray for re-election as Mayor; and Richard Funchion and Nick Zachary for re-election for Village Trustees. All three began their respective terms in April 2010. Mayor Murray had previously served as a Village Trustee. Read about it .
