Carmel Man Charged for Grafitti in DSW and Allen Carpet Stores

DSW Management allegedly saw the man drawing on the bathroom walls in the store.

The New York State Police charged a 21-year-old Carmel man with making grafitti and possession of graffiti instruments after management at DSW and Allen Carpet stores in the reported graffiti found in the bathrooms.

The police were called to DSW on May 20 around 2:45 p.m. after management said they found the Carmel man, Andrew T. Rom, drawing on the bathroom walls with a marker. Police said they also discovered that Rom had drawn on the bathroom walls of Allen Carpet minutes earlier. Rom was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear in the town of Cortlandt Court on June 8 at 9 a.m.
