Cinco De Mayo Stabbing at Croton Restaurant; Police Seek Witnesses

New York State police arrested a Buchanan man for allegedly stabbing someone at Tenampa Restaurant late Saturday night.

A report of a stabbing at led to the arrest of 22-year-old Buchanan man Adam G. Meth at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. After interviewing witnesses to the assault, New York State Police charged Meth with second degree assault, a violent felony.

A private vehicle had already taken the stabbed victim to the Hudson Valley Hospital Center when the police arrived. As of Sunday, the victim was still in the hospital, according to the police report.

He was arraigned in the City of Peekskill Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. His next court appearance is May 7, at 9:00 a.m. in the Town of Cortlandt Court.

The arrest was made by Trooper Dariusz Zysk and Investigator Sean J. Morgan of the New York State Police.
