Cortlandt Hiring For Environmental Services Department

CORTLANDT, NY — The town of Cortlandt is looking for a working superintendent for the Department of Environmental Services.

The new full-time hire will assist the director of the department with activities for highway, parks, sanitation, water and sewer.

Ten years of experience overseeing public works projects or similar is required, five of which were in a supervisory capacity experience in managing/scheduling municipal road crews, snow/ice removal, drainage, water and sewer and other public works operations.

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required, town officials said.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
