Cortlandt Man Accused Of Breaking Into Home, Stealing PlayStation
Police said the burglary happened in April, and the man surrendered Tuesday.
CORTLANDT MANOR, NY — A northern Westchester man was accused of breaking into someone's home and stealing a video game machine.
The Yorktown Police Department said Roland J. Brickhouse, 35, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged Tuesday with second-degree burglary, a felony.
Police said officers were sent to a Yorktown home shortly before 11 p.m. April 22 for a report of a possible burglary.

A woman who lived in the home said she returned to find a PlayStation unit and all its components missing.
Detectives began an investigation and determined Brickhouse was involved.

Authorities said there were several unsuccessful attempts to have him surrender. Ultimately, an arrest warrant was applied for through the Yorktown Justice Court.
Brickhouse voluntarily surrendered Tuesday to the Yorktown Justice Court which had the warrant application on hand.
He was arraigned by a judge who issued an order of protection on behalf of the victim.
After processing, Brickhouse was released on his own recognizance to reappear in the Yorktown Justice Court Oct. 4.
