Cortlandt Manor Man to Appear in Peekskill Court for Coke Possession
Peekskill police said Brion Padilla was allegedly in possession of a baggie containing cocaine during a traffic stop in the city earlier this month.

A Cortlandt Manor man is scheduled to appear in Peekskill court next month after he was allegedly caught with cocaine during during traffic stop last week.
Peekskill police arrested Brion Padilla on Jan. 10 and charged him with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
Police said they stopped Padilla’s vehicle just before 7 p.m. on the 600 block of Washington Street. As Padilla was retrieving his drivers license and registration, an officer allegedly noticed that a baggie containing cocaine on the floor of Padilla’s vehicle.
Padilla was arrested and released to reappear in court. His next court appearance is Feb. 4.
A person can be charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance if they possess 500 milligrams or more of cocaine.
