“As a Peekskill resident, I want to share my love of music, spotlight some of our best up-and-coming talent, and give something back to the local community,” said Jopling.
She is working to create a non-profit music program, modeled after Los Angeles well-known Harmony Project, to Peekskill schools. While she awaits her non-profit status to keep moving forward with that project, Jopling has been working hard with a new band to create her new CD, to be released this June.

She ran a three-day to raise $20,000 and reached her goal in that time.
“I am so honored and privileged to be working with my band, talented musicians who are ready to throw themselves into a new musical world!”
The music for the album is comprised of modern arrangements of great classical pieces, and originals by Daisy Jopling, Brian Taylor and Ben Zwerin. The arrangers include David Majzlin, Daniel Mintseris, Brian Taylor and Tristan Schulze. Ben Zwerin, the band’s bass player, is producer of the album. Jowan Gauthier, an extraordinary photographer and designer, will be creating the album artwork.
Their intent with this album is to forge a new path ahead for classical music: keeping it fresh, creative and innovative, while not losing the virtuosic, intellectual and spiritual prowess of these great composers.
