Four Charged for Walmart Thefts

The New York State police charged four with petty larceny at Walmart in Cortlandt last week.

Three Peekskill residents and one Garrison resident were charged with stealing from in Cortlandt last week, New York State Police report.

A 52-year-old Garrison man was charged after allegedly placing fishing lures valued at $38 inside his jacket and walking past all check out counters without paying for the merchandise. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Cortlandt.

A 21-year-old Peekskill woman was charged for allegeldy stealing $83 of merchandise at 6:45 p.m. on April 13. She was issued a ticket returnable to Cortlandt Town Court on April 20.

Another 21-year-old Peekskill resident, a male, was charged with petty larceny after a Walmart loss prevention employee allegedly saw him attempting to conceal an item and attempt to leave the store on April 9 at 4:15 p.m. He was placed under arrest and transported to State Police Cortlandt for processing.

An 18-year-old Peekskill woman charged with petty larceny on April 13 at 6:45 p.m. after allegedly stealing $83 worth of merchandise from the store. She was issued a ticket returnable to Cortlandt Town Court on April 20.
