Local Runners Compete in Half Marathon at Sleepy Hollow
Runner from all over the Westchester County placed high in Saturday's frigid half-marathon.
Here's video of the start of the race on Beekman Avenue, with everyone, including that man carrying a box.
The overall winner of Saturday's half marathon was Fikadu Lemma, 29, from the Bronx with a time of 1:12:00.
The first woman to finish was Kate Pallardy, coming in 12th overall. The 27-year-old from NYC had a time of 1:22:12.

First of our many hometown runners represented were:
- Kerry Meehan, of Peekskill, 45, coming in 22nd with a time of 1:28:23
- Jin Cai, of Cortlandt Manor, 44, coming in at 28th, with a time of 1:31:16.
Congrats to all 884 participants from the region who finished this challenging race.
