Hart Island Exhibit, Stay Cool for the Holidays, Medicare Enrollment Ends Wednesday

1. Peekskill Pearl Harbor Ceremony

The City of Peekskill is hosting a Pearl Harbor Ceremony to remember the 70^th anniversary of the attack at 4 p.m. in City Hall on Dec. 7.

2. Stay Cool This Holiday Season

Hudson Valley Hospital Center and Bethel Homes invites all families to attend “Improving Family Communication During the Stress-Filled Holidays” with Christine Sotmary on at 7 p.m. at The Springvale Inn, 62 Springvale Road, Croton-on-Hudson.

3. The Hart Island Project

There will be an opening reception for the Hart Island Project from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Westchester Community College Center for Digital Arts on N. Division Street. Read more about the project .

4. Medicare Enrollment Period Ends Wednesday
Senior Benefit counselors will be in the John C. Hart Community Room from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. today.

5. Peekskill Board of Education Meeting

The Peekskill BOE is holding a meeting/workshop, “Improving student behavior and school climate -- strategies, 2011 survey and alternative education,” at 7 p.m., after a performance by student musicians.
