Hen Hud Bond Vote Today, Paint Peekskill, Salvation Army Bell Ringing Kick Off

1.    Hendrick Hudson School District Bond Vote Today

Vote for or against the $25 million bond referendum between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. today at School on Trolley Road in Montrose. Read more about the proposal .

2.    Christmas Bell Ringing Kick Off

Local Salvation Army Advisory Board members and Mayor Mary Foster will be kicking off the Salvation Army bell ringing at the gazebo at 12 p.m. The Salvation New York Staff Band members will play Christmas carols and the Salvation Army After School children will sing.

3. Help Paint Peekskill

You can help paint Larry D’Amico and Sone Tower’s mural from 12 to 4 p.m. Read the details . This coming Saturday will be the last day to help.

4.    City of Peekskill Addresses Noise Complaints

The City of Peekskill will host a meeting with restaurant owners to discuss the city’s noise ordinance as it pertains to music emanating from restaurants into the neighborhood from 3 to 4 p.m. in City Hall. Click for more information and to take our poll on what you think of music downtown.

5.    Hendrick Hudson Board of Education Meeting

While people are still heading to the polls, the Hendrick Hudson BOE will meet at Hendrick Hudson High School at 7:30 p.m.
