Peekskill's First Holiday Pub Crawl a Jolly Success
The streets were packed with happy Santas, elves and Santettes Saturday night in Peekskill.
Hundreds of merry revelers made their way through the streets of downtown Peekskill during Saturday night's Peekskill Makes Me Merry pub and grub crawl, produced by the Business improvement District.
All of the participating businesses were packed with red, white and good cheer. Despite the crowds, staff at the local bars and restaurants were prepared for the masses and served up drinks quickly enough to keep spirits high.
At Mayor Mary Foster and Councilwoman Marybeth McGowan performed some holiday karaoke. At waiters maneuvered through crowds serving up guacamole, mixed table-side, and other Mexican treats. A crowd of Santas of all ages were also found inside The and the

Peekskill's trolley Stella provided transportation between stops on the crawl. Although the establishments were only one or two blocks from eachother, enthusiastic partiers were happy to take a ride on the trolley, operated by Henry Masson.
