Indian Point Siren Test; Chamber Host’s Tappan Zee Bridge Update
Five things you need to know today, Aug. 15.

The Indian Point emergency notification sirens will sound during a system test between 10:30 and 11 a.m. today. This is only a test. During this test, the sirens will sound at full-volume for approximately four minutes in Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Putnam counties.

An update on the New NY Bridge project to replace the Tappan Zee Bridge by special liaison to the Governor, Brian Conybeare, will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce today. Space is limited so to make sure there are still available seats.

3. Hen Hud Lions Clam Bake – Save the Date
The Hen Hud Lions Club Annual Clam Bake is scheduled for September 29. The Hen Hud Lions is run by all volunteers and all funds go to the community. The Clam Bake benefits our general fund which is used to help pay for food for the poorest families in the area, to provide Meals on Wheels for the elderly in our area and for many other worthy causes. Patch will bring you updates as the event approaches.
