Join the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber Experience

This March, hundreds of local vendors will show the public what they have to offer.

Taste wine, enjoy a slice of pumpkin pie, get some great swag and socialize with local businesses and organizations for free in the warmth of the Mansion at Colonial Terrace this March. The rovide the public a place to try all the goods and services local vendors have to offer. And vendors, specialists and experts will have the opportunity to showcase their specialties, in person, to hundreds in just a few hours.  

Last year’s drew about 100 vendors from around the region and close to 1,000 visitors. This year, organizers are expecting even more success.

“For consumers, the Gateway Experience offers a chance to browse the high quality products and services our local business community offers as well as sample food from our great restaurants and wine and beer from our local shops and distributors,” Milone said.

The Mansion transforms into an expose of useful community resources. Last year jewelers were selling beautiful, well-priced pieces and giving away some great gifts like cleaning clothes. At a nearby table, Teatown Lake Reservation representatives had live birds on hand to teach the public about their animals and other offerings, like educational hikes and programs, while chefs from local restaurants like Hollow Brook Golf Club’s The Woods and erved up hearty sample sizes of their popular dishes.

distributors offered a large sample of beers and nearby Kathleen’s Tea Room had an amazing spread of crumpets and finger sandwiches to choose from. In another room, the dance group performed to an excited crowd of parents while local artists explained the technique behind their work to interested customers. Peekskill artist Jeorjia Shea’s hand painted clothing was a hit with all age groups.
