Letter to the Editor: In Support of Hen Hud Schools Bond Proposition
A Patch reader states her support for the bond, which she believes will help strengthen the community and school district.

Dear Editor,
While all the details of the bond referendum have been painstakingly examined and debated, it basically comes down to what one believes in and what kind of community one would like to live in, raise their children in, retire and grow old in. As a Hendrick Hudson School District community member whose three children are Hen Hud graduates, I believe that:

I value and appreciate the efforts and countless hours that our community has put into this bond referendum and I have complete confidence that we have done our due diligence in creating the best possible plan for our community and school district.
I believe there is no better time for our community to stand together and commit to building a better place to live in and a stronger place for our children to succeed in this increasingly complex world. We truly are at an important crossroads where we can choose to move forward in a meaningful way, rather than stand still and ignore the documented needs of our District. I hope that everyone will realize the importance of the bond proposal and the uniqueness of the opportunity before us -- and vote “YES” for our community’s future.
Thank you,
Karen Geisler
