Local Physical Therapy Business Expands

Cortlandt and Yorktown Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation opens third office in Fishkill this week.

After seeing continued success with their Yorktown and Cortlandt Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation offices, owners Joe Rifino and Albert Galotti are opening a third office in Fishkill this week.

Galotti opened the office in Yorktown in 1993. After 12 years of success there, Rifino joined Galotti in opening a Cortlandt office near king buffet in 2005. They moved to their current location at 2050 E. Main Street three years ago.

“We attribute our success to word of mouth, satisfied clients and our relationships with doctors in the area,” said Rifino.

Rifino said that some of their special programs, like one aimed towards seniors that focuses on balance and fall prevention, have also helped them see success. In addition to special programs, Rifino, Galotti and the other five physical therapists involved treat all sorts of physical injuries or problems, from typical neck and back problems to post-operative rehabilitation.

The business recently added two new physical therapists and they employ nine front office and support staff.
