Man Arrested for Choking Sister
Michael Williams, 18, of Peekskill, was charged with criminal obstruction of breaking, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct on Nov. 29 at 2:15 p.m. on Garfield Street. During a dispute, Williams engaged in a physical altercation with his sister and placed his hands around her neck in such a manner as to impede her ability to breathe normally, police said. Williams was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.Â

Man Threatens Son with Knife
Police say they found 52-year-old Rodney Brickhouse holding his adult son while threatening him with a knife on Nov. 30 on the 300 block of N. Division Street at 6:40 p.m. Officers were responding to a domestic dispute call. Brickhouse was charged with second-degree menacing and was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.

Man Runs from Cops, Found with Cocaine, Ecstasy
On Dec. 2 Antoine Boyd, 21, of Peekskill, was charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class B felony; fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
An officer responding to a report of a man with a gun on Nelson Ave. encountered Boyd who fled into a residence on arrival. Boyd was apprehended after a short chase and found to have possessed approximately 4 grams of cocaine, several dozen ecstasy pills, and a quantity of marijuana. No firearm was recovered. Boyd was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.
Driving Drunk
A Fort Montgomery resident was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Route 9 at 2 a.m. on Dec. 4 by Officer Joe Gorman. Gorman stopped Armando Aviles, 27, for speeding and upon further investigation found that Aviles had been operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. A breath test confirmed that his BAC was .19%
