Mohegan Lake Man Arrested for Hiding Alleged Criminal from Police
A Mohegan Lake man was arrested after hiding a Yonkers parolee wanted for burglary in his home.
The following was provided by the New York State Police; it does not indicate a conviction. On Nov. 13 at about 11 a.m. troopers from the Cortlandt barracks were dispatched to a domestic dispute at an East Main St residence, in Cortlandt.  The police’s initial investigation found that Terrance Deloach, of Yonkers, had illegally entered his ex-girlfriend’s home and damaged property during an argument with her. Troopers located him outside the house and attempted to interview him at which time he fled on foot to Carl Christie’s house next door.
Christie aided Deloach in his attempt to hid from troopers within the house to avoid arrest.
Troopers subsequently located and arrested Delaoch and charged him with second degree burglary, resisting arrest, fourth degree criminal mischief and second-degree reckless endangerment, Deloach was additionally charged with violating his parole as he is currently on parole stemming from a prior robbery conviction.
