2.) Little Learners of Westchester Holds Open House Today

Hudson River HealthCare is offering Healthy Choices, a health promotion program designed to help participants to  feel better, in control and do the things they want to do.  The six week program is and participants meet once a week as a  small group. These meetings are led by two trained Peer Leaders who are either caregivers or have ongoing health condition themselves. 4.) Salsa Night with Anaïsa Tonight at the BeanRunner

This quartet includes women of diverse musical backgrounds, all of whom are well-established in the standard realm of Latin jazz, but who also bring their individual and collective experiences in American jazz, salsa, merengue, Dominican, Puerto Rican and Cuban folk music, samba, reggae, and rock. Performance is part of the Lady Got Chops Women’s Jazz Festival produced by Kim Clarke. Tickets cost $10 and the event starts at 7:30 p.m. The BeanRunner is located at 201 S Division St. in Peekskill.


5.) State Officials Present Plans Bear Mountain Parkway Safety Improvements

The state Department of Transportation held a public information session Thursday in Cortlandt town hall on it’s planned safety improvements for the Bear Mountain Parkway. Read more here.
