1. Peace-skill Art Eve

The Orange Splot Art Spot is hosting a special night for parents to drop off their kids ages 5 to 14 between 6 and 9 p.m. for a night of making groovy art, playing retro games and rocking out to 70s music. The idea is for parents to enjoy downtown Peekskill while their kids are safe and having fun at Orange Splot. The event is this Saturday. Read more . 

2. American Legion Seeking Photos and Bio Info from Active Military

3. Hen Hud BOE Meeting

The Hendrick Hudson Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. in the Administration building board room.

It is anticipated that the Board of Education will be moving immediately to Executive Session for matters of Interim Superintendent Interviews. It is anticipated that it will not return to open session except to adjourn the meeting.

4. Sen. Ball to Talk Job Creation

Tomorrow morning, Patch will be at the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce to take part in a media panel answering “How Do I Get My Story Covered” from 8 to 10 a.m. Later in the day, at 5:30 p.m. New York State Sen.
