Peekskill Man Due in Court for Felony DWI

Angel Fernandez was arrested for felony DWI on Dec. 7 after a traffic stop in the City of Peekskill.

A 45-year-old man Peekskill man is scheduled to appear in court Thursday after he was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Peekskill police arrested Angel Fernandez and charged him with a felony count of driving while intoxicated on Dec. 7.  A police officers stopped Fernandez on Smith Street for allegedly committing a number vehicle and traffic infractions.

Fernandez received the DWI after he allegedly failed a field sobriety test. He was arraigned and sent to Westchester County Jail without bail.

A person is charged with a felony driving while intoxicated if they arrested for a second DWI within a 10 year time period.
